A team of authors including Antti Revonsuo have published an article on natural vs. urban scenery in the Journal of Environmental Psychology entitled “Processing of natural scenery is associated with lower attentional and cognitive load compared with urban ones“.

Katja Valli is co-editor to a new anthology on dreams from Greenwood, entitled Dreams: Understanding Biology, Psychology, and Culture. The book includes chapters by Katja, Pilleriin Sikka, and Antti Revonsuo, among many others.

New research project on well-being
A new cross-disciplinary research project entitled “Hållbart Arbetsliv i Skaraborg” (roughly “Sustainable Working Life in Skaraborg County”) has been launched at the University, and includes, among others, our own Kristoffer Ekman, who takes responsibility for parts of the project. Our own Katja Valli has been interviewed for a popular scientific article on the impact of daylight on our well-being (in Swedish only), in relation to seasonal variations in daylight, and the to many familiar phenomenon of seasonal affective disorder, or SAD.
