Are you interested in applying to study with us? We currently run three programs – one graduate and two undergraduate – leading to degrees in cognitive neuroscience, as well as a number of standalone courses in both cognitive neuroscience and philosophy.
At the graduate level, we offer an international (entirely English-speaking) one-year program:
- Cognitive Neuroscience: Mind, Brain and Wellbeing: An in-depth look at the relationships between consciousness, the mind, the brain, and subjective wellbeing, from a cognitive neuroscientific perspective.
Successful completion of the program leads to a Master of Science (MSc) degree in cognitive neuroscience.
At the undergraduate level, we run two Swedish-language three-year programs:
- Cognitive Neuroscience: Applied Positive Psychology: A collection of courses in positive psychology and science-based methods for improving personal wellbeing, around a core of cognitive neuroscience.
- Consciousness Studies: Neuropsychology and Philosophy: A collection of courses in consciousness studies and philosophy, around a core of cognitive neuroscience (on pause for the academic year 2017-2018).
Although they differ in their respective specializations, the two programs share their core courses, and both lead to identical Bachelor of Science (BSc) degrees in cognitive neuroscience.
Finally, it is worth noting that many of our program courses are also available as standalone courses, meaning that they can be studied by qualifying students who are not enrolled in any of our programs. In addition, we have a handful of fully standalone courses (including distance courses) that supplement our study program courses, but do not themselves belong to any of the study programs.
