New publication on hypnosis and ADHD

An international team of collaborators including Sakari Kallio have published an article in the open-access journal PLOS ONE entitled “The Impact of Hypnotic Suggestions on Reaction Times in Continuous Performance Test in Adults with ADHD and Healthy Controls“. Briefly, the article investigates the potential impact of hypnosis on ADHD patients compared to control subjects.

New article on nightmares

An international team of researchers including Katja Valli and Antti Revonsuo have published an article in the journal SLEEP entitled “Nightmares: Risk Factors Among the Finnish General Adult Population“. Briefly, the article investigates risk factors for nightmares, finding various correlations between nightmare frequency and different sleep problems, mood problems, and psychological and physical well-being.

New article on the hard problem of consciousness

Antti Revonsuo has published an article in the Journal of Consciousness Studies entitled “Hard to See the Problem?“. Briefly, the article argues, on the basis of empirical research on dreaming, that externalist, embodied, and enactive explanations of consciousness will not be able to solve the problem.
